Thoughts on this key date 1932-D Washington Quarter?

Local coin shop just got this in — it's one I need for my WashQ set. Going to take a look at it in person. Thoughts on this coin, guesses on grade? Photos are from a TrueView. My set theme is "double-sided toners" so white coins are not a viable alternative.

Nicely toned AU58. It looks like there is some light rub on the high points. It is probably in an MS holder.
It’s different looking and I kind of like it. I’ll guess MS63.

It looks like an MS coin the way I interpret the images and I would imagine anything from MS63 to MS64.

62 maybe 63.
64.
I kinda like it! MS63.
It appears properly and respectfully aged considering that it came into this world in 1932.
I like it, and have an original roll of 1934 quarters that have skin, but none as thick as yours.
That two years might have been tough? Good genes? Sun exposure? ;-)

Well, I saw it a few hours ago, left and went out for a bit to consider it (it’d be my most expensive numismatic purchase to date), and it looks like it’s already sold.
For those wondering, it’s in a PCGS MS64 holder, although I tend to agree with those that called it a 63 here.
Oh well, the hunt continues.

When you see one you really like you won't have to think about it. Good luck on your quest.
Precisely my logic.

Not for me, but if it fits what you are trying to accomplish then go for it.
Grade aside I find the obverse to be non attractively toned which is considered the money side.
That being said it would have to be discounted not just at time of purchase, but most likely when resold as this is not a look that will appeal to many.

Looks like a 63 to me.... but way too much tarnish for me. Cheers, RickO
What Broadstruck said. Nailed it.

Grade? Another thought: if you dipped it, best case scenario would probably be MS61; toning covers a lot light abrasions.
