Kind of a Nifty Wooden Coins Storage Box for 30

I bought it here
.
And seems to be reasonable and nice looking. Thought to share.......and no not associated with them
I like it because it comes with rings of all sizes. I've been putting my coin club medals in them
By the way I made an offer

Wooden cases are always nice looking way to house and display ones collection.
There's a however....! Wood tends to gass out.... natural gases...as well any chemical used to construct the box. Glues, stains, varnishes, and other chemicals can ,and will gas out causing at times damage to coins. I would suggest that the wood box is tested for any chemical reactions that may occur.

I must admit I’m hoping for some long term toning
But, thought about that and will keep my eye on it.

Point? It did have tracking all the way and took 7 working days.
.
Look guys, I’m not saying store your $500 coins in there…….lol
I just meant it’s an inexpensive nice looking wood box. I had 40 coin count medals given
to me in a pvc coin album. I soaked and let them air dry and now put into this so I can look
at them as desired.
.
If anyone is concerned about what kind of cr@p gasses they give off I’ll keep an eye on it for a while
and get back to you guys.

A nice stain would look nice, jmo
As a coin collector and woodworker, I like it. I find making something like this to be difficult - the box is easy enough, but the dividers are a tricky woodworking endeavor (imo). 7 day fee shipping from China is excellent.
Are you happy with the quality of the box? Hinges fastened securely with decent-enough hinges? I don't care for the lettering on the lid - does it come with the China Coin Collection et al burned into the wood?
Thank you for sharing.
If we were all the same, the world would be an incredibly boring place.

Similar product with out the box. 2years and no problems. China is sometimes quicker than state side. Better than 2x2’s nice how they adjust by removing rings. The capsules are ok

This is annoying.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
Nice, I would prefer it without the Chinese writing on the lid but otherwise it seems a nice product.

I think they have it there to identify themselves online, as the wooden cases come unmarked

It doesn't look like it holds slabs, so I wouldn't be interested.

Do you think the plastic capsules are coin quality inert? Peace Roy

Everything is in Chinese and I’m a little rusty but I have had no problems with capsules or inserts.

Copper is usually a good test and everything seems fine

That looks like a really nice storage option for raw coins, medals or tokens. I may get one.... Cheers, RickO
