Desperately ISO 1887 Seated Liberty Half Dollar ...

... and since I'd rather not want to break the proverbial bank, I'm looking for one in the G-VG range.
No luck on ebay - so where else might I find one?

That date was hoarded from a very early date due to its low mintage. Finding one in G-VG is likely going to be difficult.
That's what I'm finding out - but I still like to keep the purchase price out of four figures (the price of the 1887 quarter, which I am also seeking to buy, is somewhat more reasonable).

Good luck with that one

1879 through I think 1890 Seated Coinage was low mintage and hoarded. For example, an MS 65 1879 dime, years ago, the last time I checked, was priced as a type coin for the series.
