Anyone else have concerns with the way these raw coins are handled in these videos?

The problem to me is when they show the edge and spin the coin between the fingers, even though gloved, it seems like a needless risk of imparting hairlines. Don't recall seeing it done this way before.

Would only take a small amount of extra effort to use two hands and hold only by the edge.

If I were a buyer or a consignor, it would be a concern to me.

I would not handle them that way myself, but they are not cloth gloves, so hair lines are unlikely (unless the gloves get dirty). Cheers, RickO

I’ve seen the “authorities “ on tv mishandling coins. I’ve seen pictures of the big tpg’s handle coins with their fingers no gloves.

Answer is yes 😢I find it very unnerving I use cotton gloves over a cotton towel. I can look 👀 at a coin and scratch it, cause milk spots, toning or something. 😂
