My 1965 SMS birthyear set (PCGS, toned, work in progress)

Just added the half.
Three down, two to go. Need the dime and quarter now.
It was that "Watermelon Inversion" cent that started the whole thing.
The others aren't monsters like that, but they were pretty inexpensive.

Nice start. Those are some beauties. Here's a nice Roosie just starting to tone in the holder on ebay.

Nice looking set. I put together my Birth Year Set (67) in SMS Cameo.

That's a gorgeous cent!
Thanks! Fifteen bucks, right here on BST. Sad to admit, I do not recall who I got it from, but I do seem to recall it being half of a pair of PCGS Jeffies I paid thirty bucks for. I believe the other was a bluish proof 1962.
Thanks for the heads-up. Reckon I’ll hold out for one that’s got a little more color, and a TrueView.
Woo, I’ll bet that was challenging. I think I had a ‘66 or ‘67 half in SMS CAM, but have not seen the other denominations with that designation.
Costs, to date:
$75.00 for the cent.
(I don’t typically do much with US moderns, so I had to check my sanity when I realized I was paying that much for a Memorial cent! In retrospect, no regrets now.)
$15.00 for the nickel.
$33.49 for the half.
Your cent is pretty amazing!

Since I just finished it, the Cent was the last and most expensive piece, I might as well create a thread.
