I found this quarter coin roll hunting. It definitely has a mint error. What I’ve been trying to find out is if it’s a one time mint error or a variety. Can anyone give me any guidance on how to proceed?

Please tell us what you see as the error on the coin and which side

If you’re referring to those lines on the right side of the upside down bat,
those appear to be minor die scrapes from a feeder finger – fairly common

If you’re talking about that bats’ eye area,
the photos aren’t good enough to make any determination, in my opinion
Could still be cedar finger scrapes or something else

Cannot determine if the problem on the bat's eye is a struck through or PMD.... Cheers, RickO

It is not the kind of "error" that is likely to bring a premium even if it is actually an error. You are wasting your time and eyesight looking for minor "errors" and "varieties" like this.

Adjust your camera for a better focus, maybe back away a few inches from the coin and rephotograph if you are using auto settings. Try a couple of different shots and check for best of those, then repost.
