using a coolpix.. hoping to get a better camera soon but ill try to get a clearer photo of the nugget if wish
It states on your certificate under the handwritten notation for nugget size the conversion for the measurement, but they don't write it out in the most intuitive manner-
"1 Troy Ounce = 20 pennyweights (DWT) or 31.5 grams"
So, 1 DWT is about 1.56 grams and therefore 0.1 DWT is about 0.156 grams. At 22 k the nugget is about 91.67% gold by weight, which would yield around (0.156 grams)*(0.9167)=0.143 grams pure gold. At $1,835 per troy ounce gold the nugget has about $8.33 worth of gold in it.

Actually there are 31.1034 grams in a Troy ounce.

interesting bullion item.
Thanks for sharing!
Perry when your buying the .0034 in weight is for profit taking.
If I run across someone weighing in dwt, I just assume that the number is 1.5x in grams.
again the rest of the weight is for profit taking
Interesting looking piece.
Almost looks like army men (or marines) climbing up from a trench.
That or horse racing jockeys.
Think helmets on 3 guys.
The card with the nugget states that one Troy ounce is 31.5 grams. It's actually 31.1 grams. If you are talking about a lot of gold that 0.4 grams adds up.

Nice little nugget..... always a thrill when one shows up while gold panning. Much better than the usual gold dust. Cheers, RickO
