Is this 89 CC an AU?

I have a soft spot for 89 CC so whenever I see a raw example Im always curious and skeptical due to the rarity and high value of the coin.
This one claims to be an AU, but im thinking more along the lines of XF and possibly cleaned?
What do yall think this baby would grade at?

Definitely looks cleaned, but I can't tell a whole lot from the images that were posted.
FWIW, this is one issue I'd likely purchase in a TPG holder... too many fakes and too much incentive for a seller to hide problems...

Looks like it would grade out at AU. I don't know the pricing on these lately...
I do know it is difficult to locate these with outstanding eye appeal.

Definitely looks cleaned. Nearly every coin listed by this seller is “rare” or “very rare” and sometimes even more rare such as the “EXTREMELY VERY VERY RARE 1848 LARGE CENT VERY FINE+ CONDITION”.
Pictures are terrible... could be AU or XF..... That is a raw coin at a slabbed price +..... with terrible pictures. I would pass - and I am a CC Morgan fan. Cheers, RickO
89CC is a coin you don't buy raw unless you are an expert.
Looks like a cleaned xf+, not gradeable, Also, hard to tell 100% from those pics if legit,
Based on Jes new photo's I am thinking it is genuine
Here are the images. Again, posters, please provide photos with photo questions. Amazing.

Cleaned, apparent luster loss. No grade, EF details & would rather have a true high end VF on this.
Well, just Love coins, period.
A cleaned VF-30 . . . . . .

It's actually priced just below recent EF40 sales, but I still wouldn't want it.

Details unquestionably AU. Dipped out. Can’t tell if there are other issues. If it was me choosing one, I’d wait for a natural grey high end vf or EF. It will take the ‘subjectivity’ out of the value to a greater extent. And, it will look better. Much better.

Cleaned not AU. This coming from someone who purchases mostly raw coins... I'd only purchase this coin with an in hand look or encapsulated. I'd take a pass on that one IMHO.

Real question - Why is it not slabbed? Answer: Looks like a cleaned details coin. Pass
