Peeling / Error or PMD on Barber Dime

rkprkp Posts: 444 ✭✭✭

Hi, does this Barber Dime have some type of peeling error or is it PMD? The reverse isn’t convex or concave opposite the “peeling”. If it’s not PMD is there any collectibility with such a coin?

Thanks!

It appears to be a lamination that has been bent but did not fall off the coin due to circulation. Some would call it an "error" but I would call it a defect.

    All glory is fleeting.

Minor lamination on a trashed coin, zero extra value.

    yup, lamination.

But due to the grade, no added value

Yep... Delamination, retained.... I would not think it would garner a premium. Cheers, RickO
