+45 after the embarrassing performance by Tom not always terrific

Brady plays his best in the big moments. But sometimes, collectively, his biggest games are somewhat duds. But he never loses focus, and will almost always will his team to victory and/or score points the last time he has the ball.

I don't know about over unders, and I never followed the spread to much, but I always heard that Brady could be counted on to win straight up but not to cover. Terrible against the spread. Is it true?

I just thought he’d play better. Winning is all that matters. Tom is still terrific

Patriots-9 has to be the lock of the year. Not only does BB destroy Rookie QB’s but I just watched the Bills blank the Texans +17, 40-0.

    +45 on the season

I like 3 games today. Some stronger than others. I’m going to play Atlanta, ugh! just to keep my interest at 8:30
    Atlanta-2.5 for 25
    Steelers +1.5 for 25
    Patriots-8 for 50
    Bills +3 for 200

    2 team teaser for 100
    Patriots-2
    Bills +9

Split my early games. I have a teaser working with the Bills and I’m swinging for the fences on the bills in the rain. I think their defense carries this game.

Buffalo has bailed me out 2 years in a row and didn’t let me down last night.
Way back in the days I took a covered wagon to school there was a saying
    “Defense wins championships “
Tampa Bay proved it last year and this will be the formula for Buffalo

The Raidas and Alabama screwed me this weekend. I recouped losses with last nights Bills victory but still down a few.

I actually bet $25 on Oklahoma. Lol. Can’t tell you how many times I turned it off. I’m 1 for 1000 on college. I don’t include those watch for interest games on here. 😂

Here’s a little tidbit for you gambles that follow trends.
      Sunday night game underdog covers
      Monday night game favorite covers

I was on the fence about the Ravens-7 but those that like the 9 for 9 of this trend will take the Ravens. I’m riding it until it loses.

    Ravens -7 for 50

Another interesting tidbit. Vegas took an incredible pounding yesterday. They always do when so many favorites win and cover. One more tidbit. 68% of the money was on the Bills last night even though they were the underdog

I’m sure they will be fine 🙄

I’m also sure they crushed it with Alabama losing

I don’t see anything that jumps out at me this week. As I stated earlier my best plays are usually weeks 1-4 when no one knows exactly what a team will look like. By week 6 Vegas knows what’s up. This year I stunk early and the Bills winning by double digits 4 games have kept my head above water. Actually the Bills have covered (not exact) 17 out of 21 of their last games. So if you had done nothing but take the Bills you’d own a hotel in Vegas.
I guess I should bet the upsets on the field that I see.
I like the Chargers. The Panthers went from favorites to underdogs. Have the betting public lost faith in Darnold after one bad half? Cleveland is interesting. Ravens on a short week after overtime.
Is Dallas for real at only -4?
    Stay tuned

Dallas is for real, in my opinion. As long as they have one of their tackles (Smith and Collins). If at any time they are without both, I don't know.

Oh I think they’re for real too. I think there are three very telling differences this year from last.
The most obvious is Dak Prescott. He is playing at the high level he did before his injury last year proving his games before the injury weren’t a fluke.
The two headed monster that is their backfield. I’d say run game but with Pollard it’s much more as he can catch as well as any back. With him splitting carries it takes the load of Zeke, keeping him fresh. Zeke looks like he did his first 2 years in the league.
And the biggest reason is the defense has been simplified. Players know where they belong and are not trying to do others jobs leaving huge gaps in the defense. The emergence of Trevon Diggs and getting turn overs is maybe the most pleasant surprise. Teams will adjust and just stay away from him.
Yes boys and girls, this Cowboys disliker, I don’t hate any team, has a bunch of respect for them after 5 games.
    ^^^^ I don’t even hate the Patriots^^*

imo, Cleveland is the play this weekend

Cards are banged up. they lost their TE for the season, and they'll be without both Chandler Jones and Rodney Hudson (All-Pro center) on Sunday.

they are below average against the run, and the Brownies just so happen to be numero uno rushing the football. plus it's a 3 time zone roadie. plus they are not going to win every game this season. just screams L.

with that said, if they do pull it out, they are officially la-jit.

I took the Browns ML @ -160 yesterday

you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet

oh, and that Dallas-NE game scares me. when I saw that line my visceral reaction was to unload on the Cowboys. but money has been coming in on the Patriots this week and I can't figure out why, thus I pumped the brakes. when I find myself swimming upstream it always gives me pause

Talk about injuries, Hunt, Chubb and Landry. And WTH is wrong with Beckham? They scored 47 points and he had 2 catches for 26 yards???? I’ll have to wait and see who’s good to go on Sunday.

Nah. Old AFL team. Gotta root for them. Even Miami who dominated the Bills with Marino. Ok never mind. Marino was a whiner. Shula had the refs in his pocket cause he was on the committee. Joy last year was Buffalo hanging 56 on Miami so they had no chance at the playoffs. And 28 by 2nd stringers. Still smile watching that on YouTube. 😂

I think Tampa runs the ball on the 30th ranked run defense tonight. Both defenses combined give up 48 points on average.
    I’m taking the unders tonight.

Well so far I’m right. Brady 11-12 2 TD passes. Lmao. Can I ever pick a TNF game right? I’ve got to stop wagering on nights with just one game. I need 12-14 to find a winner. And the Bills play Monday night. Think I’ll lay off that game? 😂😂

That’s one strange game if you’re a bettor.
Spread was 7 and the Eagles got for a 2 point conversion when an extra point puts them down 7? Tampa scores at will and then nothing to keep the game under. I’m sure not complaining but I bet there’s a lot of grumbling going on today.

Ofcourse there is grumbling, if you bet Tompa or the over then your furious.

I still say the most brutal loss someone could endure betting was last year when Chubb stopped himself from scoring when he purposely fell down to AVOID scoring, anyone who bet Cleveland that day was put on suicide watch.

On the Score App, mind you the chat is child like the word fix is thrown around like rice at a wedding. Of course any time things look fishy and a bettor loses well that’s the scuttle butt. I only use it because it’s up to date with everything you’d need to know. But it’s comical. Too many people with IQ’s lower than Cam Newton’s completion % on there.
Speaking of Cam. Did he just fall off the face of the world?

+$340. I know you’ve all been dying for my picks this week and I’m gonna give them early. No more friggin locks!!!
Dallas is too much for New England but it’s going to be a lot closer than most think.
Cleveland is going to win but I’ll be darned if I’ll lay one penny on the Brownies.
Pittsburgh at home is going to shine even though they are missing JuJu.
Kansas City is mad, angry and can’t possibly fall to 2-4?
The Chargers are going into Baltimore and coming out with win. How are they not favored?
Sam Darnold either gets his act together or better hide all the sharp objects at
    @doubledragon house
Fire a coach and the team rallies the next week. But he resigned so?
Detroit has had some heartbreakers but have been in every game to the end.
Bills have covered 15 of 18 ATS. I’m riding them until I go bust

    So after all that:
    Chargers +3 for 25
    Dallas -3 for 25
    Buffalo-5.5 for 100

    2 team teaser for 25
    Pittsburgh +1.5
    Pittsburgh over 36

    2 team teaser for 25
    Detroit +10
    Kansas City-1

    2 team teaser for 25
    Raiders +10.5
    Panthers +9

I think Cam is done but I also thought Lev Bell was too and the Ravens signed him. Idk I just don’t think Cam’s field general ability is appealing to anyone though.

Miracles happen! I had Wake Forest -3 for 25 today. I’m about 2 for forever when it comes to College Football. Well maybe not that much but I like to put a little on a Saturday afternoon if I’m home. Total points scored? 126. Over/Under for the game was 101. Lol. Can you imagine taking the over and hitting it by the end of 3? College football is amazing.
+295 for the year. Slim pickings Sunday unless you like to lay or get big points. 2 games in the 3 score statosphere and a 3rd at 12.
I have to have faith that Carolina bounces back against a depleted Giants team.
    Carolina-3 for 50
I think Cincinnati makes a game of it. Eventually they have to make it close right?
BB 0-4 at home. He never loses to the Jets so let’s tease a victory for him
    2 team teaser for 50
    Cincinnati +12.5
    New England-1

And for Sunday afternoon I’ll lay the big points on
    Tampa Bay-11.5 for 50

I rarely add to the total if I don’t post the wager first but I did mention it in another thread. I hit the parley and straight up bets on the Packers Thursday to move me past +520 for the year. Since Thursday was found money thanks to the over turned TD and the INT in the end zone I’m swinging hard for the fences. I’m so sure of the Bills blow out I’m making my biggest wager of the year.
    Bills -14 for 200
    Chargers-3 for 100.

Swamis going to wait on Prescott. If he doesn’t play and with the line it’s doubtful
    Minnesota-3 for 50 only if he’s scratched

    +410.
Needed a Interception from Tua, which I knew would happen and a Josh Allen rushing touchdown in the last minute to cover the Bills game Bills came out looking like they had two weeks off but rolled in the second half.

Herbert looked like a rookie against BB again ruining my perfect weekend.

Still up in the air on Minnesota

Dak is inactive but I’m laying off this game. Don’t trust anyone any more after Mike Friggin White passed for 400 yards and Geno Smith looked like Russell Wilson II.
I’ll Pass please and thank you.

Time to look at my NFL futures 47% through the season
    NFLFutures Wins

    Carolina over 7.5
    Buffalo over 10.5.
    Browns over 10
    Rams over 10.5
    Seattle under 10.
    Cincinnati under 6.5

    Carolina 4-4
Needs to win 4 of 9. Really iffy at this point but still very possible

    Buffalo 5-2
Need to go 6-4, Schedule is favorable

    Browns 4-4
Need to go 6-3 to push. Not very confident
I see them missing the playoffs

    Rams 7-1
    Need to go 4-5
    That’s virtually a lock

    Seattle 3-5
Need win less than 7 to push 8-1 isn’t happening. Looks like an early win

    Cincinnati 5-3
Wrote this off as a loss already

At the moment maybe 4-2 but 3-3 looks like a reality. Get a better feel after week 12.

Two weeks in a row I get demolished, I would have had a chance had Buffalo and Dallas decided to be normal and play the way they should.

As some of you know I took a hiatus from the board for the last two months only posting sporadically. With the help of a few lucky parleys and only wagering on one or two games a week. ( that’s really been my key. Quality over quantity) I’ve found myself in a favorable position financially from the NFL. Not huge but on the + side non the less. Let’s look back at my preseason futures.
