Paper money eventually returns to its intrinsic value. Zero. Voltaire. Ebay coinbowlllc
62….not a proof. Often wrong, never in doubt
11.5$ Southern Dollars, The little “Big Easy” set
MS64 couple of specks on obverse, reverse small nicks on foreleg. Just an opinion. Nice Nickel either way.
63 or 64. Does not look gem to me.

Beautiful. That nick on his chin is keeping the grade from a 66, so I guess ms 65.

Look at the obverse field below LIBERTY -- really unattractive. Is that some kind of sludge adhering to the coin?
On the positive side it is a "masked Indian" variety to boot.
That it is. Bill Fivaz called those the "Lone Ranger" clash. There's a half dozen different ones for the 1913 var 1.
It's the field around the bison's belly that makes up the "mask" as can be seen in this overlay.
I still think the coin is in a 65 or better slab although it doesn't look like a 65 to me.
My guess is this one is graded as a 65.
my WAG-- 64
I would not be surprised if the seller receives no bids at the current starting point.
I would estimate an MS64.... Too many little dings for a 66.... Cheers, RickO

OK HERE IT IS AND THANKS FOR THE COMMENTS OBVERSE APPEARS TOO GRUNGY TO BE A GEM IMO ESPECIALLY ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE OBVERSE
So TDN was correct Martin

Well yes in a way since he guessed 66 without seeing the coin, at least I think.
It does look better in the full slab shot, but not one that I would have any interest in at a 66 or even 65 price point.
A lot of nickels turned a dark color when put into the Early slabs from Anacs! luckily this hasn't completely turned yet.
