Questions about the 1982 and 1986 penny?

Searched 2 Penny rolls and got:
2x 1982 & 1982D. Are these large or small dates?
Question about the 1986 penny. The penny is in pretty good condition and kind of shiny but I see this line (kind of like a dent) going through the "In GOD WE TRUST". Is that an error? Thanks in advance!

You have three large date 1982 cents. The 1986 is a worn die. Very common on cents of this era.

Yep all large date. What you see on the 1986 is often called a ridge ring and is caused by die deterioration, not an error.

The small date has the 2 in the date further away from the rim.

          SMALL DATE

          LARGE DATE

Notice the distance from the rim and the tail end of the 2.
