The Rebus, on the obverse Awl + Tea + Hat + G [Cleft] + litters [hogs and hounds] + II [= two i's = is] knot + gold doubloon. "All that glitters is not gold" and legend on the reverse WALDO C. MOORE/A.N.A. 637/LEWISBURG, O./BANKER/NUMISMATIST/PHILATELIST/FOWL FANCIER/1911.
Since no one wanted to guess, I still say this guy was pretty intresting
Can anyone tell us what the obverse says? Without cheating by reading below……
Let’s see how many people can tell us what it says. I can’t find it but I did see where Mr. Moore
claims only 50 of these were made…..need to make sure this is true tho’
