Except for the 09-SVDB the rest of the coins are from my Dad’s Lincoln. Plus I picked up a big lot of Lincoln’s from an online auction which included an 09-s, 14-d, 22 plain, a capital plastic set of proofs from 1950-1964, plus many books etc for $250. How can I tell if the 1916 is a circulated proof or not? Thanks in advance. I’m not a Lincoln man, so I haven’t gone through them all. Way too many for me.

    Neat coins, for sure.
    Your 1916 does look interesting. . .

The hub had a do over for 1916 which resulted in stronger details for all coins minted. All of the coins for that year looked great as a result. Look for a mirrored edge (yes, matte proofs do have mirrored edges).

Wow... What a great batch of Lincoln cents to go through. I am sure you can get help here, but likely will need pictures with a tad more magnification. Cheers, RickO

Great Lincoln Cents. A few close ups of the 1916 would be helpful. But like stated, the business strikes from that year were very detailed.
