That is great.... The W and the V75.... and in circulation. I have not found any W quarters in circulation - yet. I keep looking.... and I use cash a lot, so hoping it happens. Cheers, RickO

That's the way i am i try to use cash every time. It's my first w mint I've seen out of circulation. I've got a change bottle im trying to go through as well, lol have rolled around 200 out of it so far. Its one of those giant coke bottles lol
I've found 12 in the last 2 1/2 years. Your lucky- very very lucky to find one. It's like for every 200 quarters minted - there is just 1 W quarter. Only 2 million W quarters were minted in 2019 & 2020 for each ATB type quarter. Nice find - don't stop hunting.

Im always looking through change just incase there is something. So far this year I've gotten several silver dimes back in change plus a buffalo nickel with partial date of 1920 and that was out of a vending machine (soda). Out of the same machine I also got a 2011s clad proof quarter (glacier) if i remember right.

@ricko Just an update - I 'm up to 18 "W" quarters through 12-31-21. I might find 1 in every 35 rolls I search. 1 out of every 1400 quarters makes slim pickins these days. I just keep hunting knowing the next roll may have 1 "W" in it. Happy Hunting.

@charlesf20 ... That is a quarter with the W mint mark (West Point). They were issued in limited quantities and mixed with the D and P mint quarters. Cheers, RickO
@Jzyskowski1.... Yes... Still looking... I even asked for my change (2.25) in quarters yesterday... at the store. No luck... The search goes on....Cheers, RickO
@charlesf20 In 2019 and 2020 the USM minted 2,ooo,ooo of each of the 10 ATB quarters at the West Point mint in NY. They sent 1,000,000 each to the other 2 mints for each of the 10 ATBm quarters and seeded the circulating quarters. Initially the odds of finding 1 "W" quarter was around 1 out 200. Now I'm having a hard time finding a "W" quarter in every 30-35 rolls I search. That is like 1 out of ever 1200 to 1400 Quarters. But the fun is still in the hunt. Nice find! I'm still "0-for" in the W quarter finds.

@JWP.... Wow... You found 12 W quarters? Were you roll hunting? Or just in change - that would be amazing. Cheers, RickO
I found two and change, and the other 10 were out of rolls from the back. I found my first one in February of this year

Thanks for the encouragement...Finding one in change has been a relentless pursuit of mine...but fruitless so far. Cheers, RickO

If you don't mind me asking "What's a W?"

Well Ricko it would seem that we enter the new year without the coveted W from the wild. Last count there’s several of us still looking 👀
