Binion Collection NGC Hoard coins

Has anyone ever seen a Binion NGC pedigree coin, in any grade 62-65, that is an attractive, blast-white coin and with wonderful luster? I have struggled for years to find one that is a great coin free of any distractions and most are ugly in some way... please let me know your opinion and post if you think you actually have one that is not toned, but blast-white lustrous without distractions???
Thanks!

I've never seen one in person but here are some threads:
I would like to see a NGC Binion Collection coin that is a beautiful, blast-white lustrous example. I recently purchased the following but it is still not a great coin... just looking for someone who may have an image of a great example:

To be most accurate, I would like to see a great Morgan dollar that is blast-white from the "official" NGC pedigree coins....

I've only seen one nice one. It had good surface preservation and nice color. Can't remember, if it was a *star or not. I think the grade was a MS 64 or 65.

In the early 2000’s when I worked at Spectrum, they handled the Binion hoard. On weekends, one of our security staff would load up his vehicle with bags of the Binion hoard and drive to Las Vegas and meet NGC staff in a “fortress “ room at a major hotel. NGC would grade and slab all weekend, and the slabbed coins were driven back to Spectrum and into their safes. This went on regularly for months.
If someone steps forward, I would like to buy an affordable coin that is great... you can pm me or take this to the BST board. I am just shocked that the Binion coins seem to have very few good coins, blast-white, and not toned in anyway. Years ago I think I had an NGC coin with the star for eye appeal but it had colored toning that was not good enough to get a premium over the market price for normal coins. Maybe his coins were just ones that came through his casino and had too many marks. I always buy PCGS coins only but the pedigree was unfortunately run through NGC. If anyone has a good Binion coin, I would love to see images... but I can't find any blast-white, highly lustrous coins in the 65 or lower category. Thanks to everyone who gives me opinions or insight on these coins.

Remember that Binion coins were Casino coins, many times they were re-bagged before he got them out of the Casino. Then he buried his hoard in the ground (yes, that is true). No special care was ever given to the dollars by Binion. They were silver dollars and just that. He was not a collector like you and I.
I have seen 64's but never higher.
And, not many of those.

I agree, that is why I don't see any attractive Binion coins that ever come up....

I bought this some time ago for my "Nevada" collection.
Not blast white but I like it. I will say that most Binions are dogs (just my two cents).

Bought this one about twenty years ago when they first came out. As I remember it many of the Binion's were toned after being in his underground vault for so many years.
@TexasAKHouston
I too have never seen a nice one and I search eBay for them relatively regularly. The 63 you posted is not bad at all for a 63.
In my opinion, most NGC Binion Peace Dollars are overgraded noticeably.
I just checked the Binion set I bought years ago. It’s a Morgan and Peace dollar. Both are dogs.
That
I bought a couple dozen when they first came out. Several were/are overgraded but the colors were really nice. I have several that I would be hard pressed to find with better color.
Being from Nevada I remember when the Binion thing was a big deal all day long in the news, pre internet. The papers were loaded. Anyhow...great thread. Take care...CC
Best one I have, not toned.

I’ve got one that’s toned and not assigned a numerical grade. “Brilliant Unc” or something like that. I like the look of mine, but it’s definitely got color. The one posted above is the least toned Binion I’ve seen.
Good luck!
@raycyca I like the 1887

Thanks, I bought the 1883 because the reverse matches the paint on my mustang.
