Considering the 8 and 2 look all sorts of wrong, I'm going to go say it's worth a cent in commerce.

Not a small date. Look up the PUP at Lincoln cent resource page.
Spend it.
Just a large date, the tail of the two has taken a hit and looks shorter but is not.

I thought the 8 looked wrong too. But the 9 is right. And the distance from the edge. The 2 definitely has a curve. But that 8 throws me off. I've had leaders of coin clubs say it's a small date

Thanks all for your opinions! Really appreciate it and the info. Like if the two is messed up. Wouldn't that had to have happened during mint? Maybe error or a true transitional date. Lol 😂 My thing is that the nine is for sure a small dates. But it's not all 100%. Ugh. So confusing

Well I'm not trying to convince you. And sorry but not funny to me. 🤦♀️ Missmorrisine by we your referring to 6 ppl. And yes you are making me second guess it. 6 out of 8 are saying large date. Single mother of 3, trying to save up for a car. Can't chance it. This is super stressful!! Been checking emails and this chat non stop. Researching as much as possible. Excited then disappointed. Excited disappointed. Maybe coin hunting isn't for me. 😣
