I never really look at coins with this much wear, but I'll throw out AG3 as a guess.

uneven wear, no grade?
For gold it's at least a 4 if not a 6 if it's straight graded. Looks like there's some rim filing going on.

I’ve sent in a lot of lowball commems and several gold ones and have numerous bagged for a whole lot less than what’s on this one.
I like it. Whenever I see a lower grade gold coin, I wonder, "how did it ever get that circulated"?
The 1892 looked like a Good+ wear-wise to me along with some scrapes.
I like this 1881 $10 as an AG-3 a lot more which I would call AG-3+ obverse and Fair-2 minus reverse.
