Well that's a major bummer. How easy would it be for a bunch of teenagers to unload 50 gold eagles? That said this is over a week so I'd be surprised if this stuff can be recovered. Fingers X
Sorry for your loss. 50oz is a substantial amount of gold. Surprised the kids were even interested once they saw all the designer handbags. I hope they are able to recover everything for you.
The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.

Now that is a major loss... close to $100K in gold.... I sure hope it is recovered, but not good odds on that. Cheers, RickO

I encourage all collectors and dealers to support this non-profit worthwhile organization. Their goal is to help each of us.

By the half-pay-attention count logger has had BILLIONS robbed from him, ha!
I think maybe every Gold Eagle & Buffalo should come with a serial number engraved somewhere so if someone records the numbers they can put an alert out warning dealers that AGEs with those numbers are stolen property.
Whoever stole them no doubt did it for cash. Not to add to their stack. I’m pretty sure they will take it to a pawn shop or bullion dealer to cash out quick.
Imagine if dealers could simply type in the number on a website and it showed whether the number has been reported stolen or not.
@derryb I know. I was just joshing him a bit. There was another thread where some one thought he was the continued victim of the crime he was
Posting.
Thanks some times I do get confused here and need some guidance

We have gold, precious metals and rare coins stashed all over the place! This is barely making a dent in my hoard, lol!
This is why I prefer certified gold. Even a MS67 Gold eagle Will have the serial number. So many thieves are too stupid to realize this and will try to offload them at the nearest pawn store
They make things called banks with vaults.....this owner was asking for problems with that much at their home.....
Holy @#%~@#%#! That is a hoard beyond belief! Too bad. Suspects? Camera video?
