It would really be a great book to own, if some of our scholarly members with factual information regarding U.S. Rare Coin diagnostics would band together and produce a book with all the hundreds of rare coin diagnostics with photos. There are several questions posted in the very regard of various coin diagnostics. BTW, books that already cover, in depth, specific coin series would let that coins series be omitted, both to save time and space. I would buy such a book immediately, just for a reference book for my library and imagine how much money could be saved by new and old collectors no longer being fooled by thieves or ignorancy on the various auction sites. Just an opinion.

Thanks yosclimber, I purchased Bill's book and have no need of a gold counterfeiting book as that is far out of my league and have never owned a gold coin, nor intend to.
