1915-S Lincoln Grade?

Found this little gem in 3 cents each bulk Wheat Cents a few days ago. Cleared out all 211 coins that the shop had for $6.33, and this was the best one by far.
Thoughts on the grade? Reverse looks really nice, this one will definitely stay in my Dansco for a while. I think 15-S was generally a pretty well struck date/MM combo. I’m thinking either XF40 or XF details depending on the nature of the black obverse spot, which I will be trying acetone on later. I’ll update the thread when I do.

The dealer must have been asleep at the wheel. They seldom let a coin like that get by them. The black spot is a negative but there are still many budget collectors who would love to have it.
Looks like a 30 or 35 with the damage to the I in America on the reverse. Cheers, RickO
VF35 IMO.
VF30 details due to the corrosion and black spot.

VF35 details. Nice find for 3 cents.

VF30 at the most. But still a great semi key Lincoln find.

My first thought was VF30

Thanks for the opinion everyone. My mistake was forgetting about net grades - often coins with issues like this might get bumped down a point or two at a TPG if it’s not bad enough for a details designation.
Really dealers just don’t have the time to search through hundreds of wheat cents. My local coin shop sells these bulk wheat cents in bags of 300 normally, but if they don’t have 300 total on hand to make a bag they keep them in a bin in the back (you can ask to see the coins they do have). Every little lot I’ve bought has paid for itself well over.

Its not a good coin that's a pleasure to look at. The grade I would guess 25. Worn coins are ok but those huge black spots I couldn't look past.

Just put it in acetone, I'll leave it in for a few hours and see if it makes any impact.

I agree with the acetone bath... I think it would go VF-details corroded otherwise. Let us know how it turns out.
