American Liberty 2021 High Relief Gold Coin Who’s going to try for it?

Just wondering who is going to try to get it, and what is your opinion of the chances of getting one?

I just don't "get" that coin. The sun looks cheap compared to the horse. Wish they had left it off. It's also bucking off a saddle to represent bucking off british rule. But it's bucking off a western saddle, not an english one. Pass for me.

I love the look of the eagle though!

I do like the eagle's feathers.....great detail there.

Pics? I haven’t even heard of this one.

I don’t even bother with the US mint website anymore. :s

If they had left the sun and saddle off, it would be a beautiful coin. Saddle is ok, but that sun looks cheap and lifeless compares to everything else.

I love it! I don’t love the price but I will decide 90 seconds before it comes on sale. Or maybe 90 seconds after.

    I'd rather have a U. S. Mint T-shirt instead.

    What? They have T-shirts?

Despite the lifeless sun, I think it's a beautiful coin but don't expect a sellout.

I like the design, but agree with many on the sun distraction.

I assume this will be 50% above spot as usual for proofs lately? It is Just getting too expensive to collect all these, and the premiums leave very little upside. Market is getting saturated with way too many offerings at once.

I wonder if Ryder was on that horse?

I don’t know if I want to admit this but this might be my favorite design at least in a long time. I’m sure the price will stop me.

I think it's an attractive coin but would have been better minus the sun and saddle. At least it's different.

I agree in part. I like most of the coin except for that lame sun background. Overall it's a positive for me....

Spend $1 million per year and you get one signed by Ryder!

Lose the saddle, lose the sun, I can definitely agree with that. Make the horse may be 10% smaller? Some Artists are so afraid of empty space!

I really do like the coin, however, at the premium, not so much. I stacked gold long ago and my stacks are investment free (due to a few sales when gold was around $2k/toz.). I do not want to financially pollute my holdings at this time. It is a nice gold coin though. Cheers, RickO
