Ironically no Killebrew card the year I was born.
Cody Lambert: He hit more home runs than Mickey Mantle and Reggie Jackson! And they gave that dude a candy bar!
PS: Actually at the time he hit more runs than everyone but four guys (Aaron, Ruth, Mays, Robinson). Now above him additionally are Pujols, Griffey, and Thome. But hey, hitting more home runs that everyone except seven guys ('roid guys don't count) is still pretty darn sweet!
I do believe he has the record for most HR in the American League for a right handed batter. ARoid shouldn't count imo.
Those lefties have it EASY!

As I mentioned in a topic I made awhile back, does anyone in this century even care about National League and American League records? They did in the 20th century but this century, it's like nobody cares

1983 Topps Traded Don Mattingly. Mattingly and Darryl Strawberry's rookie cards in the same set would have made the hobby go even crazier than it already was in the mid-80's. Mattingly played a few games in 1982, and more than half of 1983 in the majors - not sure why he wasn't in the 1983 update.
Baseball Cards magazine did a 1983 Topps Mattingly card as an insert.

if mantle played 20+ like mays a 1971 topps card would be awesome.
I wish Clemens could have gotten into the 1984 TT set. can you imagine what a tiffany would have been worth?
also, I wish topps would have started tiffany a year earlier can you imagine 83 tiffany rookies of the big 3!
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
