Has anyone received a coin back in a holder without prongs lately?

I'm not sure if I'm more bummed about not being able to see the edge design than excited I have some new unique hybrid holder. Did non-pronged holders come back without my realizing it?

Not an ASE @MsMorrisine , it's a bust dollar, so it's close. I had sent it in raw, and it came back in a pronged holder. It had to go back for a mechanical error, but came back in a non-pronged holder. That had me a little puzzled, making me wonder if others were receiving non-pronged holders as well.

I would have thought they would be out of those in that size. Odd
I hate prongs.
To prong or not to prong... that is the question....
No idea on your question... but it brought Shakespeare to mind. Cheers, RickO

I've seen Bust Dollars in the solid gasket on the new holders. I think it looks nice although they have interesting edges...

Sometime in 2019, I spotted a PCGS quarterly special, featuring a Morgan dollar and a solid gasket. I love the simplicity of the solid gasket, especially on larger coins. So, I sent in my Draped Bust dollar for re-holder in December 2019 ... with my request for the solid gasket written on the submission form. It came back with the solid gasket. I couldn't be more pleased.

The pronged holder is this one, which looks to be thin gasket. It doesn't leave much room to view the edge like the other pronged gaskets do on smaller coins, but you can see more of the coin and some of the edge. It looks like hard plastic to me.
This is the non-pronged holder which must have a solid gasket in there, though you don't really see it until its cracked out.
@asheland , is the second one what you've seen for bust dollars and new holders? Have you seen them in this pronged holder too? I wonder why it went from the first to the second. I'm waiting to hear back from customer service on the anomaly.
@Tibor , here are some pic's.

@1TwoBits Thanks for the pics. That has got to be one of the
more Bust dollars I've ever seen.
Due to Covid, there's been a worldwide prong shortage. Apparently PCGS didn't want to introduce delays.
The second one looks exactly like what I’ve seen.
