As ole blue eyes would sing, these definitely are strangers in the night. It's been quite some time since searching through the half dollar rolls, I get the chance to see the yellow rolls. It seems to always be the black wrapped rolls. Maybe, just maybe, these will bring a different outcome. Not having any luck with the black rolls. I'll be searching through these tonight. Come on, strangers in the night!

Well, well. Out of the 4 "yellow " rolls I searched tonight. I did so happen to find something interesting. Not silver, not even any variety or error. BUT, I found 2, not 1,
2 Proofs!
Yes, two Proof Kennedys. At the moment, I have them soaking in acetone. I'll post them soon. Pretty cool, I think?
Two of the Strangers, turned out to be friends! Lol
Here they are. Kinda beat up and scratched. Esp. The 73

Looks as if someone is dumping their old proof sets. Now if those were hand wrapped rolls, I would go back to that bank... but machine rolled indicates not a bank dump. Cheers, RickO

For what it's worth?
Pretty scratched up?
What do you guys think?
Thanks

the color "buff" is the proper color for half dollars.
gray for the dollars
They are what they are. I keep them when I find them, However, there is no premium for common impaired clad proof coins. No one will pay you even 51 cents each for those. Still, neat finds and if you are filling an album (with proofs) from circulation, it will be a challenge to find them all.
I think Type 1. I'm just astonished that the forum's premier cherrypicker wouldn't have already checked himself!
Yeah, I totally forgot to even check at first. Lol.
Thanks for pointing that out.
