Is Stacks not having a world coins sale at ANA?

I’m very surprised. Only world paper and US coins?

    Sure they are

I manage money. I earn money. I save money .
I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.

Will probably go up in a week or so, they just don’t post it until it’s fully catalogued and open for bidding.

I’ve seen some of the lots… it’s coming back taking forever to post

You know, now I remembered that they have the Legarda collection of Philippine counterstamps. So there must be world coins in the rest of that sale. I just need patience!

Their home page states 1259 lots but the link comes up empty.

That just came up yesterday, seems like they're just plugging them in.

Lots are up. I'm glad i've been putting some cash aside for a few months. A few very nice portraits in that sale.

I guess I should have waited another day to ask.... :D

It looks to be a yawner for me. Glad I can find stuff in Europe and Asia these days.

Looked through the sale… unfortunately, or fortunately for my financials, nothing I have to have.

There are a few nice pieces there, but the estimates seem very conservative. The 1732 8R looks nice but I'm not sure it deserves to be straight graded.

Not just up, but some impressive coins.

I've noticed exact same coins, on prevoius Stacks auctions, with lower estimates here.

It's a coin that I believe should be "net graded" not "body bagged". The surfaces are less than ideal; but there is nothing wrong with the coin where it isn't "market acceptable". I'll make the wild guess (no, not an actual guess) that it's perfectly "market acceptable" to every single collector of the series who isn't US based or doesn't use TPG standards.

The HA world ANA sale is live.

I think the surfaces overall are pretty good for a 32, but that spot by the crown looks like seawater to me. I certainly don't mean to talk down the coin, it's nicer than any 1732 I'll ever own.

78 Scots coins from David I(1124-1153) on up to Anne(1702-1714).
