Vintage Whitman Deluxe copyright 1977. Will this album further tone this set currently housed in this Capital plastics or possibly damage them?

I can't find any information about this type of Deluxe folder on Google.

So you want the toning or you don't want the toning? I always noticed whitman's one sided view folders usually makes the reverse pretty ugly looking after awhile.
Looks like you have a great set just the way it is!

I guess that all depends.... If you consider toning damage or not.

You have the best of both worlds. I love that Capital set "plus" the album. The coins in the Capital set are already toned or toning. Start another set and fill that album!

Speaking of album toning-which albums cause the nicest rainbow toning? I've heard that the Littleton albums are pretty good for that, and Dansco, too. I'm talking about albums, not folders.

Even the later albums have some sulfur in them. I would leave them where they are! If you want to get some rainbow toning going on buy and old Library of coins album and be patient while keeping a watchful eye on them!

I have several Library of Coins albums. I'll give 'em a try.

I'd leave them in the Capitol if I were you.

Same leave it alone. It's a pain to transfer them over they should stay stable in the Capitol holder.

I agree with leaving them in the Capitol holder. They look fine there, and, if you decide to sell at some point, it makes an attractive package. Cheers, RickO

This is from a 2019 explore and discovery set. Another mystery waiting to be solved. Less than 2 years and red toning these are packaged in a cardboard type display. Just goes to show

I've never seen an album with the finger "notch" for a better term. Very unusual to me.
