You can block him from future auctions and notify eBay that he's a non-paying buyer. Not much else you can do. I'm sure others here will be blocking him.

Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

    .
had a non-paying buyer on a $70 item recently, zero feedback. no emails, nothing. wait 4 days, cancel, move on.

as the world becomes more accessible to everyone, we will see more of this and have been. youtube, ebay, this forum and several other places i visit. i honestly don''t know if it is a language barrier thing, a lack of life experience thing or just a broken brain thing.

i have to concede though, over the years, i've had tremendous success with zero feedback buyers for the dozen, or so i recall, much to my amazement.

Could be worse. He could have paid for it and after receiving it, filed a SNAD dispute to force a return.

Nothing you can do about it except relist it - hopefully next time it will sell. Had a guy buy my antique lightning rod weathervane with a rare ferrule - he then complained it wasn't original and demanded his money back. The sucker sent me back the weathervane broke in 2 pieces and kept the ferrule. eBay refunded him his money - now that was a pisser!

As I stated in an earlier thread something that really upsets me is to receive (or not receive) a coin that is poorly packaged. Coins often won't survive the trip when dropped into an envelope with little or no protection.

Illegitimate persons ought not be allowed on eBay. eBay ought to rid their platform of those who violate the terms of service. Changing the mind after bidding and winning is a clear violation of stated terms, that we (buyers and sellers) all agree to in order to use their site.

A sign that eBay's leadership is weak. Blocked ! TYVM.

I'm having an iced tea last evening and this strolls by. Largest I ever saw in this country. 6-7" diameter.

    Have a nice day
