Apparently a group of Houston Astros fans sued the state of Texas because they paid full price for tickets to games that the Astros cheated in, and they wanted money for damages because they felt cheated out of an authentic product.

Astros fans' sad lawsuit thrown in the garbage can by Texas court

Some Houston Astros fans' sad lawsuit was thrown into the garbage by the Texas court system.

The 14th Court of Appeals in Houston has thrown out some Houston Astros fans' sad lawsuit and into the garbage can where it belongs.

The lawsuit was centered around Astros fans having to pay full price to watch a baseball game where the home team was breaking the rules unbeknownst to the fans in attendance. They felt that they were being ripped off by not watching a genuine product. As it turns out, the Texas court did not agree with them. Fans are entitled to see a ballgame, but not question its overall ethicality.

And into the trashcan this incredibly sad lawsuit goes. What did you expect to happen, honestly?

While those bitter and angry Astros fans believed the state of Texas could recoup damages they sustained by watching winning, but in authentic baseball, there was next to no chance the Court of Appeals was going to let this one slide. As a spectator, you are entitled to watch a game, but will not be refunded based on the outcome in question. Could you even imagine if there were refunds?

This is not a movie theatre where you can bang on the ticketing booth like a trash can and demand your hard-earned money back for watching a film you did not enjoy one bit. Even if 2017 baseball teams like the Los Angeles Dodgers or the New York Yankees would like a refund on their season from four years ago, the past is in the past and you are not going to be getting back your money!

There is nothing more damaging to one's soul than watching a team win corrupt baseball games.
