As Seen on TV........

I'm a big fan of Ben at Old Pueblo Coin, better known as the The Coin Geek on YouTube. I'm also in the midst of a rare slab obsession. These two worlds collided last week when Ben posted a video called "Name that Holder". During the video, he displayed a slab I'd never seen before so I sent him an email. Long story short, the coin arrived today. It's a very Good Friday here:

    Very cool.

The longer I live the more convincing proofs I see of this truth, that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice is it possible for an empire to rise without His aid? Benjamin Franklin

    Like the gold.
Not many of the out of business holders still have a nice gold eagle left in them.
Yours is newer then the one on coin help as yours has the MS/62 grade instead of U 62.
Here is the link for out of business and current slabs.

Thanks Bob - I'm still on the hunt (received three more in the mail today with three or four more inbound). Here is the current inventory of the ones I have in hand:

@pointfivezero... Wow... A few of those I have not seen - or heard of. Impressive collection indeed. I hope, just to add character, that one or more of your 'multiples' have a CAC sticker (since CAC does not have their own slab). Cheers, RickO

I've never seen one of those ... and the coin in it actually looks nice! I'm guessing holder is from the 1980's.

    Thanks @ricko and @291fifth

As more coin shows return to the area, I’m hoping to balance staying married and acquiring more OOB holders.

There are at least 5 different slab version from this company. The last two are only slightly different from each other.
