Why no quarter designs depicting all the various US mints?

I was just looking at a pile of change on my coffee table and just thought about how out of all the circulating quarter programs, none celebrate the different mints throughout US history.
Philadelphia, Denver, San Francisco, Carson City, New Orleans, Dahlonega , Charlotte, West Point, Manila, and I guess Fort Knox could somehow be thrown in there... missing any?

Would be nice.🙂

    Quite an interesting idea.

Not enough general appeal to get the legislation passed.

More people have heard of a Charlotte Russe than the Charlotte Mint, :s
And of the 11 non-numismatists who have, 8 think it's ice cream.

Yes but it could be a teachable moment. I never heard of all those national parks before. Plus would be another great program the US mint could capitalize on!! :D Plus now their doing the privy thing, perfect.

Don't give them any ideas....... Oops, to late!

Send your suggestion to the Post Office, they'll put it on a stamp. The Post Office must have a stamp for everyday of the year. The Mint has gotta be a close second!

Well... that theme would certainly be attractive to coin collectors... Probably not widespread appeal though. If they also included a privy mint mark from each, that would add to the appeal. Cheers, RickO

I like the idea. I pay little attention to contemporary mint offerings but I would buy a set of these.
Would prefer them on something bigger than quarters though.
