Second silver ? ring found

Went out to the forest today by the lot as lots like to take their pets or girlfriends in there as its secluded and found this one by the creek laying by the mud . Am unsure if it is silver (there is a faint stamp inside) but its in the shape of a scorpion . I've never seen a ring like it before so may take to my jewelers to have a look at it . also found some screws ,bolts and nails and some other scrap metal and a kids toy helicopter along with some pennies (1942-1983) and two 1940's nickles .
It looks like i have about 3 weeks left to search as there is now a billboard on the lot slated for townhouses but i will still have access to the forest area .

Nice finds... especially that ring. With that amount of detail, it may well be silver. Let us know what the jeweler says. If they are going to build on the lot, try to get a chance to MD the dirt piles prior to construction... Often turns up buried goodies. Cheers, RickO
The ring is sterling ,, there are supposed to be 5-6 townhouses going in so am hoping for a few more chances to dig before they start. and that sounds good .. maybe they will let me go through the piles they dig up too. the jeweler also cleaned up the ring some so it looks a little better.. ill try posting a new pic of it soon.

thanks its quite large ,, almost covers my whole right hand ring finger . i wont be able to get back for a few days due to the weather here . so Ill keep updated .

thanks only my second ring ive found .. ill try to take a photo of it being worn .. the jeweler adjusted the band to fit my ring finger.

Its not an easy creek to cross.. maybe they took it off and put in their pocket if they slipped or tripped and it fell out .
