Did I cherry pick my own inventory?

Preparing for our next show I believe I discovered the 1840 large cent Small over large 18?
I'm don't know much about large cent varieties. Can anyone conform this?
Thanks

Nice find! Will you be at the Central Va. show?
I know nothing about large cents, either, but would like to point out that your post was ideal for this purpose. First full obverse and reverse shots so that the people who actually know can check diagnostics away from the relevant focal area, then close-ups of the area to show what you're seeing. I wish everyone would do that.
Nice score and good eye
We won't be at the central VA show due to a scheduling conflict but will be at Richmond. I sent you a pm

When did you buy it and when did you learn about the variety?
Buy the score-seller a beer
I know the dealer I bought it from hes a good friend of mine and have already called him to set up a beer drinking evening after a future show! So ot works out for both of us! Coin talk, beers with friends yup perfect!

Always a pleasant surprise and adventure to cherry pick your own collection and find something you didn't know you had. It's probably happened to each of us at some point.
Congrats! Nice find.
