You might try the metal detecting forum- though it is not metal. Some rock guys over there.

Most likely a star sapphire.
Probably a Lindy stone,
Man made, [ie fake]
You can spot them because the star is so clear.
Usually in blue
BHNC #203
What are these
I know what they aren’t: coins!
I know some of us are not as smart as others
I guess my invention is to make coins out of gem stones ! Patent pending
It's been done.
Patent denied.
They look like polished rocks that you can buy by the bagful to put in a garden or planter.
1) what did you buy them as?
2) why do you keep posting rocks in a coin forum?
OK car people what is this?
Rock chips in the paint??? Cheers, RickO
