1944-D Lincoln Cent Listed as 14D with altered date?

Ebay listing,
Their title states its a 1914-D Lincoln Cent altered date, okay lets think about this one.
I didn't see a description about the details of what they have listed.
But, stating its a 1914D seems to me to be misleading seeing how its actually a 1944D with an altered date.
Plus I don't really like these altered dates floating around because it only has one purpose and that is to scam someone, even if this seller isn't trying to pull a scam, the purchaser will likely try to.
Should this listing even be allowed on ebay (or anywhere)?

pretty sure we discussed this subject not long ago and someone quoted ebay TOS and it stated that "altered" coins are not permissible as well and of course that term being a bit ambiguous led to some interesting commentary, as usual.
imho, something like this would be the epitome of what an altered coin would be defined as and highly removable. good educational piece with no business being on ebay.
Reported.
Yep ... altered date.
Perfect eBay dark photos so you can't make out too much detail. Isn't his first rodeo.....

Good work... gone now.... Thanks for capturing the pictures. Cheers, RickO
The seller made it very clear that he was offering an altered date example. Considering that, I think it’s unfair to accuse him of manipulating the image.

I never said HE manipulated any images. You are looking too far into it.
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
Sorry for that. Then I don’t understand - what did you mean by “Perfect eBay dark photos so you can't make out too much detail. Isn't his first rodeo....” ?

Dark photos on eBay don't show enough details, Right ? "Isn't his first rodeo?" was a question, so far no answers.
EDIT: Oh, just noticed this listing was removed - guess I don't have to explain myself anymore!
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
No, dark photos often don’t. Adding “perfect”, along with the statement (not question) “ Isn't his first rodeo....”, made it sound as if you were implying that the seller intentionally used dark photos, so that not enough details were showing. That still sounds unfair, as seller made it very clear what he was offering.

My biggest problem I had with the listing wasn't the pictures, but how the seller stated it to be a 1914-D with altered date. Well, it wasn't a 1914 at all! he knew it was a 1944 with an altered date to appear as a 1914-D.
I almost didn't even grab the picture at all.
Then to top that off was the fact that he was trying to sell an Altered Dated (imposter) coin knowingly.
