1936 S Buffalo Nickel--any value for this S/S?.....NEW COIN........

I have had this 1936 S/S Buffalo Nickel for a long time and wonder whether this slight S/S is of any value over and above the 1936 S Buff?

I'm sure it has some kind of a premium. How much I don't know. Maybe some of the RPM guys we have here could help.
There are a few varieties that look like that - check out "http://doubleddie.com" or "http://www.varietyvista.com" to see which variety you have. Look at the mintmark placement compared to the date for an exact match. Once you have which variety it is, you can look up "SOLD" items on eBay to get a feel for what it is worth.

Fun to research a coin you already have.... Might even turn out to be an unexpected treasure. Best of luck... and let us know. Cheers, RickO
I think you have RPM-002.
It's definitely worth a premium, though I don't think it's worth as much as RPM-001, which overshadows the others because of its 'wow' factor.
I sold an ANACS AU-58 RPM-001 some years ago for around $100.00 on eBay, and could see this going for around half that in the same grade based on similar RPMs on other dates that I've sold there.
I've had this 36 S/S for a while but scratched so bad, never thought about it.
