What kind of doubling do you think this quarter has?

And do you think it has any value? I am no expert in doubled dies, so maybe some members here can share their thoughts. The date is what originally caught me eye.

Very strong and somewhat deceptive machine doubling on that one. As IkesT says, it might be worth a few bucks due to the unusual appearance of the coin. Go here for a brief tutorial on how to differentiate between machine doubling and true hub doubling.

Machine doubling... stronger than usually seen. I would not purchase it, but if I found it in change, I would retain it in my 'education' coin collection. Cheers, RickO

    Yup, machine doubling.

Easily determined by the weaker (flat) second image, ie the date.

Collector and dealer in obsolete currency. Always buying all obsolete bank notes and scrip.

Very cool thank you @IkesT @koynekwest

Yes the eyes are pretty cool and that is what lead me to think it may be a "real" double. Those, and the spikes in the 9's and 6's.
