FOUND THIS IN PARKING LOT

I was at car wash and noticed this raw coin on the ground. Under my glass found out this is an 1877=CC dime. What do you all think?

Nice find ... not. Sure it's an error though

That is one incredible ground find.... Looks like it may have been pilfered and then discarded as useless.... Just a wild guess... Cheers, RickO

I agree ricko. It is not an error but a very very worn dime. I looked around for others. Its at least worth silver melt.

Some coin collector might have used that coin for a pocket piece, then accidentally lost it somehow.

Unusual find to say the least.

Not for a parking lot. Many many valuable coins have been found the same way. :D

Congratulations! A top candidate for worst known 1877-CC dime.
