Wow...I can't believe it's already been a year :( You think she'd be proud of my new coin collection so far? It really has been hitting me lately not having her and all those cute little things/quirks we said/did together...I miss her so much and I do wonder if there's anyone out there for me.

Did I forget to mention how I don't know what I would've done if it hadn't been for my kitty and my grandma and my aunt helping me through right after my wife's passing?

EDIT: I swear on my cat's life that this was completely unintentional/coincidental...but apparently this was my 6000th post...and June (6th month) happens to be the month we got married and sadly the month she passed.

I'm glad she opted to be cremated (as is our dearly departed Tweetie, our first kitty together who left us in 2012) so they both can always be close to me and not buried in the ground somewhere miles away :(

Ok, so a couple posts that Estill posted are not about trading cards. However, if you read the whole thread you would see how his late wife shared the hobby with him. He is on the board telling us his story, about his cards, his late wife, and how he is coping with with his loss through his cards and his cat. I'm allergic to cats Estill, so no offense but they're not for me, but everyone here from this newbie to the old guard on this board wishes you the very best as you honor your wife with your posts. Ride the Lighting you have 12 posts. Not that I have ton more, but you could show a little more compassion to Estill, since the guy is reaching out to this board on a day in which he needs our support.

Soo sorry buddy 👍 We live this Life to exist and endure the best way we can. Unfortunately time is limited from the day we're conceived.... In THIS LIFE! One thing I do know is...... It's not all for nothing! You're going to see her again! 🙏

But my wife did help me out many times helping me get really rare sets (I think the last truly great one was a 1994 Pinnacle Museum Collection and I did make topics over the years announcing really great finds) and we opened packs of cards together (such as a few years ago when BBCE had a couple 1993 Flair cartons for sale) and she was getting into buying a few packs here and there. So to say my wife and her passing and such are "not sport card related" isn't true at all.
