Hello Everyone... I recently acquired this 1828 Large Cent. I guess the white balance must have been off in the sales pics because they appeared significantly darker than what the coin turned out to be. Here are a couple of images I just took... Thoughts?

Looks very nice to me!
I knew it would happen.
Very nice example.
Looks Vf 25/30 with nice color and surfaces.
The cents from 1821-1830 are tough to find and somewhat pricey above Vf, so this is a solid example for a collector on a budget.
Nice old large cent and almost 200 years old.... Probably saw a lot of commerce in those times...Cheers, RickO
Thanks everyone... I was pleasantly surprised with the color and surfaces when I got this one. I also grade her a solid VF25... the hair curl in front of Liberty's ear is apparent, but it's not as crisp as I like to see on a 30...

Not to disparage ricko, but I don’t think that coin saw a lot of commerce. It looks like it was stuck in a cool, dry, dresser drawer prior to 1840 and left alone for many decades, after which it became a nice collectible that nobody monkeyed with.
Very nice coin.
That's a really nice looking example of the small date variety which is more scarce and tougher to find I think. Attractive VF + I would guess.
