I love Ike dollars and all other dollar series !!!
I also love Major Circulation Strike Type Sets, clad Washingtons ('65 to '98) and key date coins !!!!!
If ignorance is bliss, shouldn't we have more happy people ??
Wouldn't it be nice to know who it was slabbed for? Politics or what?

It does not look like an ACG holder though ... hmmmmm

I have to side with Ken on this. You often post something that is irrelevent. I have seen the threads on the Open Forum and for some reason you think there is some value to having a lot of posts next to your name.
Ken doesn't fly off the handle for no reason and perhaps his patience was just down a bit today.
It is like the child who talks all the time, thus having no time to listen and learn. Stick around, but work on your listening skills.
I wanted to respond to the subject matter here also. That coin was probably one of the many 68s made a while ago. There are 35 of them in the population report.
I believe the story is that quite a number were part of a hoard that was submitted, but I would defer to the experts on that.
I have a 68 and I had to go look at it and the coin you linked cannot hold a candle to the one I have. I am not sure what was going on when that coin was slabbed.

Does that mean you are going to buy the bust half for 50K as you stated in another thread, or were you just posting to post as usual. It was certainly not relevent. Chill out and be real.
Merc folks, this is my last post... but I felt it had to be said.
If so I am waiting to see it listed??
Otherwise senority means nothing
I have to agree with Ken, I have several 67's that should be
68/69's if that 39 is a 68.I guess the grader forgot his/her glasses that day
Tim
Nice Try with LittlePuke. You try to be Nice and Tactful with Him and Look what Happens. I am Sure BJ or Carol will hear from Me Tomorrow. I have Had Enough !!
Now to the Coin. If Many were Submitted at the Same time it would be Quite Possible One Slipped through with a Grade Just a Little Higher than it Should be. Wonder if this is What Happened ?? I Can't Imagine Other 68 Coins Looking Like this One. Like Dennis said, If 68 looks like this We All have a Bunch of them in Our Sets and Heck Maybe some 69's Also.
Fly Off The Handle Ken is My Name.
You Snuck in there when I was Typing. Heck if LittlePuke thinks He has Seniority Here He is More of a IDIOT than I thought He Is. Enough About That Sorry Excuse for a Person.
We Made Money Today With All of Our Coins that will Up-Grade according to this Example.
Again This is Posted By: Fly Off the Handle Ken.
and as far as SENIOR, first you must be over 21 years of age, and act like it, to be senior to anything.....something you are not!
Ken, I am not usually saying anything on here, but I have to agree, if a person has nothing to offer, stay on the side, and do alot more listening.....I have learned so much by reading posts (that had someting to offer) than ever giving my opinion. I also realize that this post has nothing to do with the coin at hand and I apologize to the forum.....I will now go back into the shadows....
Thanks for listening.

Come on guys, you've got to believe him! His set is right next to his album of Proof Classic gold and his collection of 1794 Flowing Hair varieties collection (he'll admit though, he's missing the the one with the copper plug though).
Don't let the "Gallery Mint" brochure bother you.

Such immaturity, coming from a police officer! I always knew that a lot of them were corrupt.
Anyways, I'm not responding anymore to this thread. I'm not going to sink to your low levels.

What do you think would happen if I bought that 39 in 68 and sent it back for a regrade??
Might be worth it to see if (when) downgraded what pcgs would do.
Now another subject(all the ngc 68's are mine)I repeat do not bid on them
kidding of course but they look pretty nice
Tim
That would be Interesting. Every Once in awhile I have the Same thought but So Far have been able to Refrain from Trying It.
Only One Problem with that. What if they left it at 68 ?? Would You Really want to Own that Coin ?? Not I !! From the Response Here No One Else would Either.
Oh Well a Person Could Dump it on a Non Suspecting, Non Registry Person. All You would Have to do is Get Over the Guilt of Selling Such a Ugly Looking 68 Coin.
