With cherrypicking, just about any post-1955 Lincoln proof can be had for under $5, even the 1990 No "S" if you get lucky with an unopened set.

Most of my proof sets are residing in a carton I packed in 2008 when I moved from the PNW to NYS.... Purchase a couple since then, but only specials. Cheers, RickO

Pre-Pandemic and silver was down in the teens. Paid $3.65 for this silver quarter. eBay. I was collecting holders at the time.

Newly graded and True Viewed.
Most Washington Quarters in PR63 condition from 1972 S thru 1998 S are worth $5 or less. There are truly a ton of coins in that age range that are $5 or less.
