At least studying the feasibility. Would you use such a state depository if one became available?
"Last month, Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee signed a bill into law that creates a commission to study the feasibility of creating a gold bullion depository in the Volunteer State. A state bullion depository would not only create a safe place to store precious metals; it would increase the state’s financial independence. It could also facilitate the everyday use of gold and silver in financial transactions in Tennessee and set the stage to undermine the Federal Reserve’s monopoly on money."

Uhhhhh...no...
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
When will someone open a gun depository? Lol.
Knowledge is the enemy of fear
I'll admit, I have a few clients who cashed out (traded out) their 401K and IRA into silver and gold. I shipped it (their silver and gold). off to a depository. The gold has had ups and downs (in the market over the past decade), but anytime they want out, the gold will go to the buyer. And I've taken physical delivery of people's gold who had it stored in a depository and decided to "cash out". People can be afraid all they wish. Fear drives the market faster than electric cars.

Didn’t they have one of those in France - called the Bastille or something?
Ummmm that would be a big NEGATIVE, NO, NOPE, NADA
The loons in Texas have one.
They already exist as well.
The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.
and those 'loons' store the gold they took back from the Federal Reserve - the only State in the Union to hold own gold...
That will not be for me. I like my stacks where I can freely access them. Definitely not under other people's control. Cheers, RickO
