My turn @ usps - where's my package

Sent in some coins to cac. Just about 50% got beans, about what I expected. But this thread isn't about cac. My coins left cac and abruptly went into hiding. I hope some cool and dry, secure place in New Jersey.
.
From cac coins typically take a week to get back to me. Its now been 10 business days.
Registered package-post office says "give it a few more days". I reply "it is my understanding, that registered means my package needs signed for when changing hands during it's return". Post agent says that's correct. I reply-huh, would have thought it would have changed hands in a week and a half. 3 more days go by, no change. I return to my post. Supervisor says he'll call that location. They took my phone number.
Ugggg, rant over

Well if they are nice Mercs then maybe they will get diverted to me? ;)

I hope they make it home safe to you.

From my little Etsy store I have mailed out over 300 packages USPS in the past 6 months. About 25% of the time they get hung up somewhere along the line. The good news is, they haven't lost one yet. My submission just was shipped today. Wishing good luck for both of us. They odds do seem to be in our favor..

My package is similar, took a week to go for DelRay Florida to Tallahassee, and since then just shows it departed Tallahassee. Also left on May 17th. Luckily it’s a fairly low dollar item.

There is a couple nice mercs in there. You wouldn't want them though, no cac stickers. 20s and 28d

My coin also processed in ISC Chicago IL on May 17, 2001, no update since. It looks like USPS still has issues to ship on time. Local post office window traffic lower a lot most of the time recently but the packages just can't arrive on time. Don't know why.

Registered can take ages. I’ve been 2-3 weeks from CAC before and they always go off the grid in NJ.

I have been waiting 10 days a on a check mailed 350 miles away. About every 3rd check from this place has the same result.

I received an envelope that was 3½ weeks late. It was hand written non machinable and the post office also stamped in big red letters non machinable. Well it appears that somebody at usps somewhere doesn't understand what non machinable means and ran the envelope thru a machine and the envelope got caught in the machine. I must say those machines do a pretty good job of gouging out those aluminum tokens.. Good thing the seller was understanding and is sending replacement tokens.

I have several packages coming.... I know they have been shipped, and I will know when they get here. What happens in between is the business of USPS, UPS. I will let them worry about it. ;) Cheers, RickO

My eBay International Standard Delivery package on its way to Uruguay is, after 14 days, in Riga, Latvia. An eBay concierge just told me that that is DHL "normal routing" (!?!). Est. delivery is July 5 so I guess they have time for another continent or two.
