last two weeks, I have added two coins to my collection.

the first is a well struck 1851-O G$, I picked it up on ebay. its got some grit in the devices, but overall a pleasing example. paid too much, but have been looking for a well struck AU piece for awhile. this has completed my set of New Orleans G$ that I started to work on in 2012/2013.

the next is a nice error coin. I have been working on offmetals/wrong planchets for a while. I finally found a nice specimen of a SBA on 25C piece, its cool. its got some nicks as expected for the grade, but overall a great addition. I picked this up from Fred Weinberg. I like the fact that it is in a 3 prong holder, and you can see the clad edge pretty clear.
