@maybeDisTym.... Welcome aboard.... Not sure those questions are subjects for a poll when presented in that manner. Since there is no way to give you the information you are looking for. Post the coin in a thread, and in that thread ask forum members to guess the grade (GTG) and point out any features you think are different or special. Good luck, Cheers, RickO

    FYI:
    Your poll makes no sense.

If the end result is graded coins, then buy graded coins from PCGS and NGC, and consider the CAC approved sticker.

If learning to grade is the goal, seek out a major show and take the ANA grading class.

There is a tuition we all pay, and this is the quickest way I know to flatten the learning curve.

It is folly to buy coins from 2d images on the computer!

Go back to my first point.

Not worth grading if that is what you are asking. This looks like a VF or so with some planchet issues(see STATES).
It's not a bad coin by any means, looks nice and original, perfect for an album.

Poor alloy mix will cause the streaking you see. I also think I see some lamination on the reverse at 12:00.
Other than that I have no idea how to respond to your poll.

    Why did you buy it?
What did you pay for it?
How did you decide what to pay for it?

Agree, gotta find one in ms64 or better to justify slabbing a 1916.

MS66 taste on an MS63 budget.

Looks AU-53 to me. I agree with the previous comments concerning the planchet.

Looks like a decent starter coin for a Buffalo Album.
No advantage or need to grade a coin like this as the cost of grading most likely exceeding the value of the coin.

Absolutely not worth slabbing. Strictly an album or folder coin.

It isn't missing a feather, the F, and not the DDO.

    Nothing more than album filler.

The date is likely the first thing that everyone looked at.

The date is very clear, 1916. Why would you think they minted A 1616 Buffalo nickle? pretty sure 1st American coin was a 1792
