2021 Peace dollar

I have heard elsewhere that the new Peace dollar commemorative will not be in high relief, as the original 1921 issue is. Does anyone know if this is the case? The answer to this will determine if I end up wanting one.

The mint did say it would not be a true high relief but exactly how it will look is a bit uncertain. I suspect they will make it look more like the 1921 in design but not with the basined high relief look.

The renders certainly look high(enough) relief.
This is the only one of the centennial releases that I really want.

Same here. I will look at one in person when that's possible and then buy one from the aftermarket if I like what I see and if the price isn't ridiculous.

Apparently the 'high relief' illusion is for pictures only. The Mint again fails to satisfy the collector. If the Mint paid attention to the details collectors want satisfaction would follow; 200k will sellout, sadly, the Mint will think they were successful.

The collector in me is saying buy 1 and keep it. But the flipper is saying buy 10 flip 8 and keep 2 for free. I think I know what I’m going to do if I get in. 🤫
