I have acquired a earlier 1950's collection to resale for a friends of my Dad's. He has had the cards since the 50's. He is 81 years old and is having health issues. Not sure if this card is in a high enough grade to send in at the $300 level to PSA ight now.
I like to send to PSA but BVG is a option just do to time to resale these. I can not wait 8 months.
What are you your thoughts? Will these grade high enough to justify the $300 level or do I wait and send these in at the $100/$150 level once they open these back up. Assuming the price does not increase again.

I would send that one in.

Nice looking Mays. I would grade that one as well.
I would wait it out until prices come back to earth for grading. I would not spend $300 to grade those. They are not high grade.
You could try selling them without having them graded, too.
Two mid grade beauties.

Yes, for sure.
@Mickey71 @1951WheatiesPremium that for the advice. I will try to sell raw at the show I am setting up at in a couple weeks. I feel they will come back a 4 maybe a 5 but would be shocked if anything higher than that. With the sellers health issues time is not on my side. I will wait and see if they bring back services in July and might submit at the $100 level. I have about 200 mid 1950's cards that seller has given me to sell. They are all in about in the same condition.

The Mantle and Mays would do ok in an SGC holder also. If you don't have a lot of time ?? Sorry to hear about your friend also.
If time is of the essence, I would think you could probably post them on BST threads as singles and get good prices for them - maybe even here.
If you are setting up at shows, you know what you’re doing anyway but those cards will sell themselves.
As a buyer of cards, I typically get interested in buying at a price about a grade below what the actual condition I think it is. So if I think it’s a 4 and it’s raw but priced like 3, it draws my attention.
Hope it helps; sounds like you’re doing a solid. So I hope you get a strong price.
