Welcome. Amazing. In just a few sentences you have captured the essence of numerous thread and hours of discussion and if they are indeed part of the series.
And there’s a lot of posts concerning the privy mint marks.
I would suggest searching the forum threads and you will have plenty of opinions.
Yes when I met with a board member to pick up two boxes one with 10 "CC" and the other with 10- O's he ask this same question and I said the only two I want are the CC and the Peace but now that I see how hard it is to get the "D" mint in 70 I would put them back as well. I sent in 30 CC and received 28-70's I sent in 35-D's and only received 6-70's. As for them making more yes we know that is going to happen, I can see a 5 coin set set with a Rev proof, proof, MS, Satin, Peace and it goes till 2035 call me nuts but it's just me dumb me Type2 thinking.
I agree that the Peace will get sustained attention and probably do well. Also looking to see if the D issues present conditional rarity in the end. That doesn't just mean MS70 premiums, but there might develop a cult following of those strike-throughs.
The D Mint in 70 grade is the huge winner for 2022. Check out what they are selling for now. One is even featured in the banner ads at GC closing on Sunday!

The 2021 Morgan Dollar featuring the CC (Carson City) privy mark is expected to be the most valuable coin due to its historical importance and limited mintage. Collectors tend to pursue coins that have distinctive marks or scarcity, which can significantly increase their value. The D in MS-70 is the most expensive. This is due to the poor quality of this coin from the Denver mint.
I bought directly from the mint, our host graded at...
Date, mintmark 2021-D
Grade MS70
PCGS Price Guide SM Value $1,150
The Redbook confirms this, it's why I had it graded, submitted 2, one came back at 69 and one at 70...
As others have said, the 2021-D in PCGS MS70 is the clear winner.
I also think those interesting strike-throughs have a good chance of making serious bank in time. Anyone who returned them to the Mint was foolish in my opinion.
Similar experience like those who have commented above, the 2021 D is the most flakey one in the set.
I had ordered three from the mint out of which one was MS 66, another one was MS 69 and got really lucky that one turned out to be an MS 70.
The three Peace as well as the two CC privy marked ones I had submitted also came back an MS 69, so did not bother sending in the other mint marks ones in the set.
Not to rain on the parade but the middle chapters of the series have yet to be written.
Its up to the Mint to sustain interest, and there will be little left if they keep overproducing and sitting with inventory. Anybody need '23 proofs? Gluts will affect all years including 21s. Its up to the Mint to keep production tight and stoke demand to keep values and interest. If the series has a loyal following interest will keep values.

Otherwise these become nice silver rounds.
Maybe, but these have a 100+ year history. I don't think anything they did with 2023, or will do in the future, will impact 2021. It was the 100th anniversary. They sold out instantly. The mintages were far below the 2023s. And interest, and value has been sustained for 3 years and counting.

Same with the O. If only that had been possible 👍🏼

What are the flippers paying these days?
The CC is still the highest priced. The offers have been all over the place.

Is this the first series of coins to have a 100 year gap between the last year minted to its resurrection?
Are they also the first coins to have the mint marks on them made at a different mint?
If so, they are quite unique.

Haven't there been proofs or silver eagles struck with or without a mintmark other than the W struck at West Point?
Regardless, the fantastic* Eisenhower "prototype" was apparently struck at Philly but has an S mintmark.

Weren’t the SMS coins from 1965-67 minted at all three mints, but not mint marked?

MPL's - Lincolns of Color
Central Valley Roosevelts
The bullion ASE have no mint mark no matter where minted

Hoard the keys.

I'm looking forward to obtaining proof Morgan and Peace dollars this year.

TV hucksters are still doing well with these as of the end of 2022. They seem to have picked Peace and the Denver as the ones to hype the most.

Does not matter to me at this point. I sold all of mine for a nice profit which I immediately spent on two gold proof coins.

Couldn't resist
Throw a coin enough times, and suppose one day it lands on its edge.
