Oh yeah!
A staple on Saturday afternoons
Was that just a Boston thing?
I’m pretty sure it was, I used to watch it at my grandmothers in Somerville every Saturday when we would go visit
I said I don't remember it, but I almost feel like I do now. It says it ran until 1983 and was mainly in the Boston and Philadelphia area. I have a vague memory of not wanting to watch these because they scared me. It actually makes sense. It came on after cartoons. And I was seven or under at the time. I honestly think I switched the channel and watched candlepin bowling, which was another New England area thing.

Anyone remember “Creature Double feature” Channel 56 on Saturday’s? Land of the Lost?
Land of the Lost gave me (as a 10 year old) an irrational fear of something that hasn't existed on earth for millions of years, yes dinosaurs. The many scenes with that t-rex chasing them into some cave and the sight of his tooth filled mug blindly probing into said cave searching for his dinner entree as the family sat in the far corner of the cave just out of its reach in fetal positions. The horror!

I don't. Just looked it up and it ran through 1983. I might have seen it though.

At 10 I was just following the local teams, that hasn't changed too much.
Killebrew
Alan Page/Bill Brown
Hockey had just arrived
No Basketball team
